This training session focused on some of the winning awareness-raising actions of the 5th European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR) Awards. Participants could learn in detail about the best practices for waste prevention, reuse and recycling implemented during the EWWR 2013 in each of the Action Developer categories. The presentations offered a detailed explanation of participants’ involvement and show how each action can be successfully implemented.

The session ended with a short introduction to the focus of the European Week for Waste Reduction 2014 (from 22 to 30 November) and its focus on Food Waste Prevention in the scope of the Prevention Thematic Days 2014.
