Give vinyl a second life? Yes! In fact, we should do everything possible to ensure that it does not end up in landfill, as it can release chemicals that are very harmful to the environment over time.

Meet the artist

The argentinian artist Sol Courreges Boné, started to create works from recycled materials in 1999 when she settled in Spain. When she arrived in Formentera (Balearic Islands) in 2005, she used all the discarded materials she found in the sea and on the coast to give them a second life: wood, single-use plastics, even bicycles…

According to the artist, her recycled works are not a job but a way of life: “It’s my essence, I couldn’t do anything else”.
