Description:

The Malta International Airport Foundation has been funding underwater clean-ups since 2020. Since then, 12 underwater clean-ups have been carried out around Malta and Gozo, resulting in the elevation of over 14 tonnes of waste from the sea-bed. This initiative will be highlighted in a press release which will be published during EWWR.
