In order to promote the use of packaging-free products, a stand will be opened at the Değirmendere local market area in Gölcük district on Tuesday, November 21st, between 11:00 and 14:00 hours. The vendors who open stalls in the market will be informed by the technical personnel of the Municipality to sell their products without packaging and to distribute canvas bags and paper bags instead of single-use plastics. The main theme of the information will be a awareness campaign to explain the benefits of packaging-free shopping to citizens.

The paper bags to be distributed will be made by students of the Cemil Meriç Disability Life Center from waste newspaper papers at an workshop to be held on Monday, November 20th, between 11:00 and 12:00 hours. The paper bags will be distributed at the market with the participation of disabled students.
