The National Council of Women will be organising informational talks directed for households, with the aim of raising awareness and educating the general public on how to recognise WEEE and why it is important that we collect it and dispose of it in a safe manner.

Other points to be discussed during the talks include the dangers associated with wrong disposal options, the obligation that each country has in collecting and recycling WEEE, the responsibility on each citizen of collecting WEEE, and what can be recovered through WEEE recycling.
