An upgrade and replacement of old PCs and electronic equipment (at least 20 items) is planned for a computer room in a major student’s auditorium. The idea is to check, repair and save the withdrawn equipment in order to reuse it in the central University library and for administration and students’ needs.

The environmental Management Office will work together with library’s IT technicians and at the same time material concerning this year’s EWWR special issue will be electronically disseminated to the University’s community. Material will be extracted from the EWWR website as well as delivered from the “Recycling Appliances”, a WEEE extended producer’s responsibility national scheme located in Greece.
