Organizing a waste reduction project week.
The aim is for children to understand the importance of an environmentally conscious lifestyle through playful, experiential activities, to learn about the possibilities of waste reduction, and to experience how they can do something for a cleaner environment. During the week, special emphasis is placed on conscious environmental protection, practical demonstrations of recycling, sorting and composting. The activities include playful sorting, creative making of games in the spirit of recycling (e.g. castles from boxes, etc.), viewing of educational videos (fairy tales, documentaries), completing worksheets, the importance of selective waste collection, and concluding the project week with a book exchange market.
