The modern waste yard in Komárom, established by MOHU Zrt., will open on November 15, 2025. We would like to promote the proper disposal of waste and selective collection. As part of the program, we will organize a visit to the waste yard with three school groups and an introduction to the use of the yard. The participating students will receive a list of waste that can be dropped off at the waste yard in advance, and we will provide them with the opportunity to drop off smaller waste from home that can be transported by bus (e.g. smaller e-waste) at the waste yard as part of the study trip by the accompanying teacher. The operator has undertaken to shape the children’s attitudes. The Komárom City Government will finance the bus trip and publish the event in the local media. Another part of the program is the placement of a yarn-saving box in the House of Generations with an announcement. The box could hold yarn scraps that are no longer of value to others and will not be used, but it could also provide raw materials for the crafts and craft activities organized by the Komáromi Kulturális Nonprofit Ltd.
