Title: GIRA – Circular Garage Sale

As part of its ongoing commitment to circular economy and waste prevention, LIPOR will host a special edition of its weekly Garage Sale on 26 November, integrated into the European Week for Waste Reduction. This initiative is part of the GIRA project, which promotes the reuse of discarded objects in good condition, extending their lifecycle and reducing environmental impact.

The Garage Sale takes place every Wednesday and on the first Saturday of each month, offering a wide variety of second-hand items such as furniture, books, accessories, and DIY materials. All items are collected through dedicated reuse containers in five municipalities, then cleaned, repaired, and prepared for sale at accessible prices.

The action on 26 November will highlight the environmental benefits of reuse, encourage sustainable consumer behavior, and showcase the social and economic value of circular practices. Visitors will be invited to learn more about the reuse process and the impact of their choices.
