Informing parents in advance about the planned activities of the Waste Reduction Week and involving families in making them aware of the importance of waste reduction.
Informing parents in advance about the program and asking for their support. At the planned start date of the program, we would like to ask parents to make artworks with their children at home from some recycled material (PET bottle, coffee capsule, toilet paper roll, milk carton, etc.), from which we will organize an exhibition in the kindergarten during the action week.
Following this line and principle, we are not only expecting artworks, but also all recyclable materials, from which we would make something together/individually with the children within the framework of the kindergarten. With these items, children can surprise their parents and family members, thus preparing them for the Christmas holiday and reinforcing in children that small things, gifts made by themselves, can make the holiday even more intimate.

Development embedded in the game:
• “Shopkeeper game”: Set up a shop in the group room with “good and bad” products. During the game, draw their attention to recyclable materials and to ensure that they only buy the most necessary things when shopping.
• “Call the garbage truck!”: We designate a specific point in the group room as a waste yard, where children can transport the garbage with the garbage trucks, which must be placed in the appropriate bins (blue-paper, yellow-plastic, metal, green-glass)
