Value from waste

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

Campaign title: “Waste-free school – small steps for a cleaner future!”

Description:
The aim of the campaign is to make students understand how important it is to prevent waste in everyday life. During the week, we hold “Waste-free days” when students are encouraged not to bring food or drinks in single-use packaging, but to use durable boxes, water bottles and snack boxes. Classes make joint commitments to reduce waste and create posters about conscious consumption. The school community learns how to produce less waste both at home and at school.

Expected result:
Students develop more environmentally conscious habits, the amount of waste generated at school decreases, and children set an example for their families.

Campaign 2: Waste sorting and recycling

Campaign title: “Let’s sort together – schools can do something for the environment!”

Description:
The aim of the program is to teach students the correct way to separate waste and to recognize that recycling is key to a sustainable future. We will set up labeled collection points in each building of the school, and students will participate in a “Waste Hunter” game where they will learn which waste goes where. The lower school students will create creative works of art from recyclable materials, while the upper school students will give presentations on the importance of recycling.

Expected results:
The students will learn how to separate waste correctly, the amount of materials collected selectively in the school will increase, and the community as a whole will become more environmentally conscious.
