AX Group will host an Electronic Waste Donation & Swap event focused on reusing and responsibly managing IT equipment that is no longer needed within the Group. Instead of discarding functional devices, the IT department will collect and assess decommissioned items such as laptops, monitors, peripherals, and small electronics.

Usable equipment will be cleaned, tested, and made available to employees via an online portal which will be set up during the EWWR, with the aim of maintaining this initiative. Staff members will be able to take home selected items in exchange for a voluntary donation to the AX Foundation. Any equipment that is no longer functional will be sent to authorised e-waste recyclers to ensure proper and environmentally responsible disposal.

Objectives:

• Promote reuse of functional IT equipment and reduce electronic waste.

• Support the AX Foundation through voluntary staff donations.

• Ensure environmentally responsible recycling of non-functional electronics.

• Raise awareness about circular economy practices within the organisation.
