Tiny Hands, Big Impact
• WHAT will be done
Description:
Lenka is a six-year-old girl with one beautiful dream: to make the world a better place. She began her journey by recycling paper to create handmade cards. Then she started reusing leftover wax to craft new candles. More recently, she’s been making picture frames using stones, sticks, and bits of rubbish she collects from beaches—turning what others discard into something meaningful and creative. In addition she already been to Cambodia and to Guatemala doing voluntary work and she sells some of the craft work, all made from recycled material, that the women in these countries do. With the money she generates she helps animal shelters. On the 24th November she will be setting up a stand at a market at the University of Malta campus.
