WHAT will be done

Description:

Our institution will join the European Week for Waste Reduction campaign this year, with the main theme being the problem of e-waste.

It focuses on better collection, management and recycling of electrical and electronic equipment, as well as encouraging reuse and repair.

The event will take place in our institution from 24 to 28 November 2025.

We will be involved in the campaign in several ways:

1. E-waste collection for grades 1 to 12
We are advertising an e-waste collection for our students and their families. Waste can be dropped off at two collection points in the institution, and we will arrange for its removal.

2. Retro gadget exhibition for grades 1 to 12
We would like to ask for the help of parents to create the exhibition. We collect retro (from the 1960s to 1990s) electrical or electronic devices, from which we create an exhibition in the 1st floor auditorium of one of the school buildings. We place a short description next to the objects so that our students can get to know them.

3. Creation from waste
Performing a craft activity using a CD, in drawing and / or technology classes in grades 1 to 5, during community education.

4. Using interactive learning platforms on the topic for students in grades 1 to 4
We create interactive, playful tasks for our colleagues and their classes, selecting from existing ones.

5. Sharing information materials and pages on the institution’s website and, with the help of parent community members, in the closed Facebook group of the classes (for grades 1 to 12).
