WHAT will be done

Description:

We are announcing a competition for 7th and 8th grade primary school students from the surrounding settlements on the topic of sustainable development. The first step of the competition is to hold an informative presentation on the global, EU, Bosch and Maklár sustainability goals and action programs, as well as global environmental problems. The focus topic changes every year, with a special role given to the topic of waste management and the analysis of practical solutions. While last year the focus was on food waste, this year the focus is on electronic waste.
The 1st round of the competition is an online test, with which they can assess their theoretical knowledge, using what was said at the presentation.
For the 2nd round of the competition, based on the results, we selected the 10 best teams and invited them to the finals at the Bosch Maklár site.

The tasks of the final:
▶ prepare their own presentation on the topic,
▶ test their knowledge on Toto,
▶ An escape room awaits the competitors with challenges related to the topic.

At the end of the competition, we will prepare a presentation for the competitors, which will be held by the Jane Goodall Foundation.
At the award ceremony, each team will receive a material prize.
In addition to the special material prizes, the top three winners will be able to participate in a special factory visit to the company’s Maklár site and to the MIREHU (Miskolci Regionalális Hulladékgazdálós Nonprofit Kft.) site in Miskolc, as well as visit a nature conservation visitor center.
