Focus on Sustainability – Miskolc Photography Club’s campaign for the European Week for Waste Reduction

The aim of the Focus on Sustainability program is for the members of the photography club to contribute to waste reduction – by learning how to preserve the condition of their cameras and lenses in the long term.

During the campaign, in the club’s internal Facebook group:

– We will introduce where reliable service centers in Miskolc can be found, where they undertake the repair and cleaning of cameras and lenses.

– We will share where it is worth going in Budapest for more specialized repairs.

– We will learn what basic maintenance tasks we can perform at home ourselves – safely, increasing the lifespan of the machines.

– We will also educate you on how to avoid unnecessary equipment replacement and how conscious maintenance can become part of the photographer’s everyday life.

The message of the program is simple: Sustainability in photography also starts with taking care of what we have.
