Still Going Green
• WHAT will be done
Description:
Our sustainability journey never stops — we’re Still Going Green! Throughout the scholastic year, our school continues to take meaningful, hands-on actions that build on past achievements while inspiring a more sustainable future.
We began the year by using funds collected last year to embellish the school foyer with plants, creating a vibrant, living reminder of our commitment. Our activities bring together students, teachers, and the community — from olive harvesting and greenhouse renovation to coastal preservation exhibitions, sustainability conferences, and collaborations with local councils.
Our “Swap don’t Shop” initiatives, classroom competitions using recycled materials, and reuse campaigns encourage everyone to rethink waste and make sustainability part of everyday life. We also take learning beyond the classroom with environmental outings, beach clean-ups, and awareness events like the E-waste Campaign in collaboration with WasteServ, promoting proper disposal of batteries and electronic waste.
By continuously monitoring our trees, crops, and waste, and by celebrating our milestones such as the LEAF and Green Flag Awards, our school proves that sustainability is not a one-time effort — it’s a way of life.
Together, we’re Still Going Green — keeping our actions alive, our ideas growing, and our planet thriving.
