Planned Activity – European Week for Waste Reduction (22–30 November)

Within the scope of the European Week for Waste Reduction, an awareness activity is being planned to highlight the importance of proper collection and recycling of electronic waste. Between 22–30 November, social media announcements will encourage citizens to bring their electronic waste to the 1st Class Waste Collection Center. The collected waste is planned to be disposed of by the municipality’s contracted licensed company in accordance with environmental regulations. In addition, on a selected day during the week, a collaborative workshop will be organized with a school or educational institution, where participants will create an “Electronic Waste Sculpture” using collected electronic parts. This activity aims to raise awareness among both children and the wider community about waste reduction and the concept of reuse.
