4. Short Film / Informative Video Production – “Stop Waste, Unlock Benefits”
As part of European Waste Reduction Week, Çanakkale Municipality will produce informative short films and video content to raise awareness about electronic waste.

These videos will be filmed by the municipality’s own teams and professionally edited. The goal is to explain the environmental impact of electronic waste in a simple, clear, and impactful way, while sharing proper collection and recycling methods with the public.

The videos will cover the following topics:

• Definition and classification of electrical and electronic waste

• The impact of electronic waste on the environment and human health

• Çanakkale Municipality’s e-waste collection system and drop-off points

• Best practices for managing e-waste at home and in institutions

• Environmental and economic benefits of preventing waste

The videos will be shared on the municipality’s social media channels, website, and local digital screens. Content will be promoted under the hashtag #StopWasteUnlockBenefits, targeting especially young people and digital media users.

This initiative aims to make environmental awareness more visible in the digital space and to make the municipality’s environmental policies accessible and understandable to the public.
