Second Life for Electronics – Neapoli
• WHAT will be done
Description:
As part of the Second Life for Electronics initiative, DIADYMA, in collaboration with the Municipality of Voio, the Creative Activity Center for People with Disabilities – “Symplefsi Neapolis” and with the help of the local artist Mr Theodoros Karakatsianis, will host a creative upcycling workshop in Neapoli. People with disabilities will use broken and unusable electrical devices and burnt-out light bulbs to craft imaginative artworks and decorative items. The event highlights how creativity and inclusion can transform waste into beauty and usefulness. On the day of the open event, on 25/11, 10:00-13:00 an exchibition of the upcycling products will be presented to the public. At the same time DIADYMA will inform citizens about waste management practices and will collect WEEE for recycling.
