The Malta Airport Foundation has supported the environmental NGO Żibel in the procurement of two Seabins for Marsaxlokk and Marsaskala, as part of the launch of the Seabin Project in the south of Malta. In 2022, another collaboration with this NGO saw the purchase of a RHIB, helping improve the organisation’s efficiency in collecting marine debris and ghost net retrieval. This initiative will be highlighted in a press release which will be published during EWWR.
