Description:

 

Malta Freeport Terminals will repurpose a disused container into a secure, weather-proof shelter for abandoned and colony cats in collaboration with a local animal welfare NGO. Instead of disposing of the container, it will be cleaned, repaired, and adapted, demonstrating practical circular economy principles. This initiative supports community animal welfare, reduces waste, and strengthens our Corporate Social Responsibility by giving industrial materials a second life. Employee involvement, will include  donation of blankets  in good condition and donation of food tins drive. The project reflects Malta Freeport Terminals’ commitment to sustainability that is both environmentally meaningful and socially compassionate.
