The European Week for Waste Reduction has been featured every autumn in Lakeuden Etappi’s resident communications. Etappiaviisi is an online publication released by the municipal waste company. The article in the online publication describes the web-based service korjaa.se, which brings together repair businesses from various fields, with their contact details available on the platform. The korjaa.se online service has been implemented by Ekokumppanit Oy, based in Pirkanmaa, and nowadays several waste management companies from across Finland are involved. Lakeuden Etappi also provides the service for residents of South Ostrobothnia. Through the service, residents can also find repairers for their electrical devices.
