Our institution collects electronic waste every 3 months. Each time we discuss with the children the importance of this for our environment and future. During the waste reduction week, our main topic is reducing waste generation, sorting and recycling. The highlight of our creative recycling this year is paper. Newsprint, cardboard boxes. paper boxes. We try to show the children what they can recycle creatively. The focus is on a sorting board game. We also play situational games on the topic. Parents get an insight into our activities in closed groups and we also prepare a report on our activities on the kindergarten website.
