1. Focusing on the reduction of electronic waste generation and the importance of reusing IT devices awaiting disposal, Inter-Metal Recycling Kft. has obtained a certificate for the confidential management of IT devices in preparation for reuse, as well as for closed-system data destruction.

With this, we can provide the following services:

– Data destruction: secure deletion of data (e.g. software deletion, physical destruction).

– Identification, condition assessment, and tracking of devices: serial numbers, types, and documentation of status in preparation for recycling or reuse.

– Issuance of data deletion and destruction certificates, documentation of the entire process.

As part of our campaign, we would like to present the levels of the above processes. We primarily intended online materials; we will not be able to show the process live due to compliance with the GDPR and other data protection regulations.

2. Our other campaign is to present the school electronic waste collection process among the options provided by the concession system. This fall, we will collect and process school electronic waste collected in several school districts in Budapest and Pest County. As part of the campaign, we would announce the winner online on the last working day of November, naming the school that handed over the most electronic waste. We would like to welcome the representatives of the winning school to our central location for an exciting site tour.
