Play for the Planet – FC Porto Museum for Sustainability

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

As part of the European Week for Waste Reduction 2025, the FC Porto Museum will host an interactive environmental awareness activity involving visitors in the creation of a dragon artwork using keys from disassembled keyboards recovered through proper waste sorting.

The initiative aims to engage the public in reflecting on the importance of responsible e-waste management, specifically the correct separation and recycling of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). By transforming discarded materials into a collective piece of art, the activity highlights the potential of reuse and creative recycling, while reinforcing the values of sustainability and environmental responsibility promoted by the EWWR.

Through this artistic and educational experience, provided by the Educational Service, the FC Porto Museum seeks to inspire visitors to adopt more sustainable behaviors, emphasizing that small individual actions contribute significantly to a cleaner and more responsible planet.
