Pass it back bro! Sale of the Week

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

The Jane Goodall Institute has launched a campaign aimed at the proper and safe collection of used mobile phones in Hungarian households. These devices are kept by people, even for years, until they are finally thrown away, often in inappropriate places, or in municipal waste. But since they contain dangerous but also valuable materials, their proper collection is important.

The coltan ore needed to produce mobile phones is mined in Africa, in the habitat of endangered species, consuming their forests. We want to stop this process, so now we are collecting these mobile phones for recycling at collection points and delivering them to recyclers.
