Pass it back bro! Sale of the Week
• WHAT will be done
Description:
The Jane Goodall Institute has launched a campaign aimed at the proper and safe collection of used mobile phones in Hungarian households, which are no longer in use. People keep these devices for years, until they are finally thrown away, often in inappropriate places, or in municipal waste. But since they contain dangerous but also valuable materials, their proper collection is important, for which we want to show our employees, partners, and the environment the best practices.
We know, for example, that many different elements are used to produce mobile phones, such as the necessary coltan ore is mined in Africa, in the habitat of endangered species, consuming their forests. We want to curb this process, so now we are collecting these mobile phones at collection points for recycling and delivering them to recyclers.
