A group of friends from P6 at Holy Rosary Primary School in Belfast are organising a book swap during the EWWR so they can pass on and swap books that they no longer need. They all love to read and have lots of books that they’ve finished with. By organising a book swap they can pass on their books and get ‘new ‘ books to enjoy, and not only that but their parents can save money too! Any books that are left over will be offered to the school, and if there are books that the school can’t use they will go to a local charity shop or hospital ward. There will be little or no waste involved and the children will have helped to reduce waste and keep useful items in circulation for longer.
