Lecture and guided walk at the River Rescue Center for the PET Cup junior groups
• WHAT will be done
Description:
We are giving a lecture to MATE foreign students (45 people) about the activities of PET Kupa, the causes of river pollution and possible solutions. In addition to the lecture, we will introduce them to the operation of PET Kupa’s River Rescue Center, the phases of the work process there and they can also visit FLEX, i.e. the Floating Exhibition. They can even try out sorting and baling. The aim of the action is to increase river literacy, promote the importance of river cleaning, and raise awareness that a significant part of river litter is waste, i.e. a valuable secondary raw material suitable for recycling. In the River Rescue Center, university students can also learn about PET Kupa’s unique innovations and see an exhibition of products developed by them, made from river plastic.
