WHAT will be done

Description:

Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council have partnered with Ballynahinch Lions Club to launch a spectacle reuse scheme.

From Monday 24 November, residents can bring their old spectacles to the Household Recycling Centres at The Cutts, Carryduff and Drumlough Household Recycling Centres so that they can help people in developing countries, who cannot afford to purchase glasses.

On Monday 24 November, the Spectacles Reuse Scheme will be promoted via the Council social media channels.
