The National Association of Waste Managers (HOSZ) is a national, public-benefit professional advisory and advocacy organization based on a voluntary association of professionals, organizations, entrepreneurs and business associations active in the field of waste management, with a history of nearly 35 years and currently more than 60 members. The Association’s priority mission is to promote the utilization of the generated waste to the greatest extent possible, and thereby reduce the environmental burden caused by waste. It carries out its activities within the framework of eight departments, including the Electronic Waste Department.
The Association is organizing a conference on November 25, 2025, entitled The Present of Domestic Waste Management , during which it would like to review the current situation of the domestic waste management sector and examine the experiences of waste management concession tasks to date. The presentations include the Electronic Waste Department’s information on the present of waste management from the perspective of service providers and users. The speaker is the head of the Electronics Department of the HOSZ, Norbert Höflinger, strategic director of HWD Recycling Kft. The expected number of participants is 200 people. The event was publicly announced by the HOSZ on its website (https://hosz.org/rendezvenyeink/szovetsegunk-idei-oszi-konferenciaja-a-hazai-hulladekgazdalkodas-jelene-cimmel), Facebook page and in its publication, the Zöld Ipar Magazin.
