Guardians of the Light – Little Energy Rescuers Day
• WHAT will be done
Description:
Objective:
Children learn in a playful way how to use energy economically and consciously in everyday life at kindergarten. The goal is to shape attitudes: understanding and practicing the principle of “less is enough”.
Activity description:
We assign “light guardians” in the groups who ensure that lights and devices are not left on unnecessarily.
The children make their own “energy saving badge” (with a drawing of a sun, a light bulb).
Walk around the kindergarten: we look at where electrical devices are located and how we can use them wisely.
Together we make warning signs: “Turn off the lights!”, “Turn off the water!”, “Save electricity!”.
At the end of the day, each “light guardian” makes a pledge and receives a small certificate.
Expected result:
Children become more aware of energy use, understand the importance of energy saving, and set an example for their families.
