The aim is to extend the life of these items by donating those still working to charities or non-profit organisations for refurbishment and reuse. Devices that cannot be reused will be recycled to recover valuable materials such as metals, plastics, and glass, reducing the need for new raw material extraction and promoting responsible e-waste management.
