Free Sustainable Period Products – Belfast City Council

Info

WHAT will be done

Description:

The Environmental Education and Outreach Team offer free sustainable period products to residents of the city. This scheme is an effort to reduce waste by offering people a more sustainable option. It removes the financial barrier that many people face when wanting to try a more environmentally friendly option, by funding a set of reusable pads or a menstrual cup. Working with social enterprise ‘Hey Girls’ we offer a high quality product for residents to manage their period in a way that creates less waste.
