Exchange clothes and electronics – Give your items new life!
• WHAT will be done
Description:
The program offers students and employees the opportunity to exchange or responsibly pass on their tired but still good condition clothes, accessories, and small electronic devices (e.g. calculators, lamps, keyboards, hair dryers, USB cables, etc.) with others. The goal of the initiative is to prevent these usable items from unnecessarily gathering dust or ending up in the trash, but rather to find new owners, thereby extending their lifespan and reducing the need for new products. A “mini-boutique” and exchange point will be set up on site, where anyone can choose from the items brought in. The remaining clothes and usable devices will be donated to local NGOs or those in need. The program serves to prevent waste generation, encourage reuse, and conserve resources – in a community, circular approach, through practical examples.
