Energy Element KlimanÓcska Falván
• WHAT will be done
Description:
I am Ildikó Szabó Bozókiné, regional climate officer. This year we are joining the European Week for Waste Reduction for the 10th time. With this action, I would like to illustrate the diverse creative possibilities and points of connection between different layers of society and generations. We are implementing the Energy Element in the KlimanÓcska Village that I developed. We draw attention to the importance of waste prevention and reduction throughout the year. Enthusiastic little environmentalists receive a small waste package from Klimanócskák with their parents and the participating city residents. I have systematized the knowledge of the comprehensive waste prevention and reduction activities throughout the year within the framework of the program in several ways, thus facilitating the inculcation and practice-based knowledge of possible solutions. I have prepared a program booklet that contains the tasks of the Energy Element . On the Klímanócskák Facebook page, followers could continuously be informed about the programs, tasks, and useful advice. It is especially pleasing that the “Klímanócskák” program has also developed cooperation between foreign and Hungarian kindergartens, which we have continued, and the developed European Waste Reduction Week projects are also used by teachers and great emphasis is placed on the types of waste and the importance of the cycle of this waste within the framework of the week. The media will be continuously present during the European Waste Reduction Week. Families, the population, educational institutions, cultural institutions, companies, and local governments are involved with various programs, widely involving many layers of society. The questionnaire related to this waste provides useful advice and maps the knowledge of those living in our environment. The motivating objectives of the Energy Element in the Village of KlímanÓcska educational program package are:
– e-waste in the cycle
– sustainable lifestyle
– food waste reduction,
– energy reduction,
– waste reduction,
– selective waste collection,
– organic farming,
– nature conservation,
– climate protection,
– local patriotism, mapping local problems encouraged a change in attitude.
November 22.
During the campaign, we continuously collect clothes, linen, paper, e-waste, metal waste and encourage the population to return them. I actively involve 18 educational institutions, the local government, business organizations, artists, and environmental experts in the collection.
Waste collection campaign in the area of the Mártély Landscape Protection Area and the Brick Factory Educational Path. The Klímanócska families, with the involvement of environmental experts and interested parties, examine our nature conservation areas and collect waste and garbage, in compliance with health regulations. While collecting waste, we learn about selective and toxic waste. This waste, for example, is also good for the elements. I drew attention to plastic pollution with the series of activities belonging to the program. I worked on the problem of plastic pollution of the Tisza River and the seas and oceans with the children. I promote recycling with a plastic and glass measurement table.
My goal is to make them feel the alarming extent of the amount of waste using the Beaver Selection program belonging to the Mártély Landscape Protection Area. I model the flora and fauna of the Landscape Protection Area with creative works from selective waste. I implemented an extremely wide range of activities and games with the animals I created within the framework of the “KlímanÓcska Village” program. I make board games, cards, and educational materials for the finished animals, with the help of which the children can learn about the habitat and characteristics of protected animals. When selecting the materials for the finished play equipment, I prioritize the formation of attitudes, and I make them from paper and packaging waste collected by the population and left over in the kindergarten, and from natural materials. I showed the children the correct techniques, they re-created used plastic bags and foil, boxes by shrinking and compressing them. In each case, I strive to return their characteristic features by observing their characteristic features in the image of the animals. Strengthening the connections between environmental awareness and nature conservation.
In the afternoon, we will learn the rules of selective waste collection through skill games on the selective waste collection field in the stadium with the coaches of the Bozsik Institutional Program.
November 23rd: Family day in the kindergarten Don’t burn, compost everything, hedgehogs are sleeping! Learning about the elements of composting. Using the techniques of Komposzt Kata , we created a composter. One of the key activities of climate awareness is the popularization of composting, one of the oldest ways to reduce and utilize waste. I was able to bring the topic closer to the children best by introducing composting. I introduced Komposzt Kata’s selective waste collection habits with a story. During Komposzt Kata’s story, the children learn how humus is made from the many leaves that fall in the forest. We invited soil dwellers and small birds to our Climate Bird garden, which we created together with parents and a specialist, to feast on the organic waste generated in our garden and kitchen and to make compost soil. How did all this come about? We have set up our composting pit and have been collecting leaves and green waste continuously since autumn. The elves experience the compostability of kitchen waste all year round, we collect various fruit and vegetable green waste. During the complex activities, environmental awareness provides an excellent opportunity to develop mother tongue, music education, mathematical skills, and logical skills. In addition to the composting process, they were also able to observe the stages, and the families also feed their spice and herb gardens planted at home with their own compost. With the help of the tasks of Kata Compost, they learn how to feed plants to animals living in the soil. We demonstrated the toxic effects of hazardous waste through experiments. It is extremely important that the attitude-forming activities also have an impact on the families, as they are active participants in their year-round activities through various playful tasks. Shared experiences have a community-building power, and empathetic thinking towards nature plays a prominent role in the development of emotional intelligence. We made a compost board, where we systematized our knowledge, which parents could also read. We also helped deepen the acquired knowledge by watching educational short films. What comes next? Several families made small composters, so the apple core and peppercorns are always put in the compost frame, and soon the little “Klímanócskás” had their own compost animals in the frame.
Ecological footprint measurement for families. It was extremely useful. It drew attention to various environmental and waste reduction problems. Involving grandparents in the home utilization of our herb garden was a good starting point for joint cooperation. We collected the remaining pumpkins from the city and donated them to the animals of the Aranyági Kisfarm.
November 24: KlímanÓcska Falva We are setting up a waste yard for the children in the kindergarten. Learning the concepts of waste types, recording knowledge. We built the waste pyramid together with the children through playfully different self-made worksheets. We made games around selective waste collection. Papír Piri, Palack Peti, Fém Fanni, Üveg Ödön, Komposz Kata and Energia Elemér continuously encourage city residents to collect, return and reuse, so the campaign will be implemented during the week. I was looking for a cooperating organization, business, educational institution for the processing of all types of waste Papír Piri – Reuse, creative hobby shop, packaging waste. I drew attention to the connections between selective waste collection and packaging reduction. I took the initiative to collect our own good examples with families on how we can reduce different types of waste at home. 45 families joined the European Week for Waste Reduction with their own program to authentically represent dedicated environmental activities. Don’t buy anything, Climate Change is ahead!” making a green shopping list homework for families. Reducing food waste: choose the first product. Swap plastic for canvas. We kept a waste calendar for families. The family that produced the least waste received a certificate. I deepened the knowledge with the points of conscious shopping. Children and parents were invited to play an interesting game, which also drew attention to the useful use of free time. Metal Fanni We will create works of art from the collected unnecessary parts with the help of metal sculptor Ferenc Botos and we will also draw attention to waste reduction through art. Steel Dreams exhibition for those interested.
Honestly at his level!
Klimanócska’s poem for our Earth.
How terrible would it be
if the world were to perish?
Let’s take good care of all the treasures
that our earth gives, and of the precious water!
We will run out of everything
one day
if we waste endlessly!
If we pollute our environment
where will it live our child?
Let’s protect, let’s protect our earth,
let’s not ruin our future!
So now listen up,
because what I’m telling you now,
this will decide the fate of our planet,
will you hear its pleading voice?
Our old planet only asks for as little waste as possible.
Let’s look at what’s left, carefully.
Let’s try to separate what can still be used! If you outgrow clothes, donate them, make a toy out of them. You can also make a bag to protect your environment this way. Sort your trash Paper Fanni is waiting for you.
Paper goes in the blue bin,
plastic flies to Peti’s bottle in the yellow.
Metal Fanni is waiting for metal in the gray bin
Glass Ödön the white one collects the glass and takes it to be thrown away. Compost Kata is waiting for green waste so that less food waste goes to waste.
Do you know what to do with it?
Throw it in a composter!
It’s that simple,
it doesn’t require much intelligence.
If you do it this way,
you’ll soon see,
others will follow your example,
the area will be cleaner.
Our old planet will be relieved,
and in gratitude it will be beautiful again
November 25: Utilization of renewable energies, they received useful information about reducing the need for electricity and transportation. Monitoring energy consumption in families. Visit to the Hódmezővásárhely waste yard.
We learned about the adventures of Energia Elemér through a story. During the story, Energia Elemér collects broken devices and phones and invites them on a new adventure. During Elemér’s adventures, he also joins the Passzold víszá Tesó! mobile phone collection campaign, and we choose an ambassador from the Klímanócskák. For this waste story, we make various machines and robots from selective materials together with the families. We make an energy house where energy-saving devices We draw attention to the use of. We also systematize our knowledge with puzzles and a giant board game.
In the afternoon, I will address children aged 10-14 with the Energy Outlaws program at the Hódmezővásárhely Youth Club as part of an interactive presentation.
The adventure of the brave Energy Element
Once upon a time, there lived a tiny but important resident in the City of Games: Elemér, the Wild Energy Element. Elemér was full of vitality and light, ready to give energy to anything he put it into. He was excitedly waiting for the moment when he could get to work. That morning, little Tomi, the owner of the City of Games, put Elemér in the big, green remote control. Elemér sparkled with happiness: Finally, I can be useful! But despite all his efforts, the remote control remained silent. Tomi pressed the buttons, shook it, but nothing. He threw it aside in annoyance, and Elemér rolled out of it sadly under the sofa. Elemér decided to find out what was wrong. On his way he came across many other sad, broken devices. First, the Roaring Bear lay in the dust. What’s wrong, Bear? Elemér asked. Oh, Elemér, sighed the Bear, for some reason my song won’t play. I want to sing to Tommy. Elemér tried to give him energy, but a small wire inside the Bear was broken. I’m not the source of the trouble, dear Bear, you need a doctor! Rolling on, he met the Lightning Car. Hello, Car, why are you standing there? he asked. My wheels aren’t turning, the Car said sadly. Elemér gave it a little energy, the Car’s headlights flashed for a moment, but its engine didn’t start because a gear was broken. I’m sorry, Car, you need a part! Elemér began to think that he was the bad guy, even though it was brand new. Finally, he saw the Clicking Robot in a corner. The Robot’s eyes were blurry. What will happen to me? Elemér asked, discouraged. Inside the Robot were two old, exhausted batteries. Elemér rolled next to them. Maybe I can help! When Tommy found them and put Elemér in the Robot, old elements, the Robot’s eyes lit up, his arms began to move, and he shouted loudly: I’m alive! I’m alive! Elemér understood that he was not to blame, and that sometimes broken devices need more than just energy – they need repair or replacement parts. But in the right place, he could do wonders! From that day on, Elemér, the brave energy element, lived happily in the Clicking Robot, and they became Tomi’s favorite toy.
November 26: E-waste-free lifestyle. Where did Elemér’s Energy go?
We experience waste prevention through traditions.
The museum activity presents the lifestyle of the past, the life path of objects, highlighting the problem of today’s overconsumption. My goal is for children to better understand the interaction between man and nature, and to recognize problems for which past examples can also offer solutions. This activity connects historical knowledge with modern sustainability goals, and we give practical tips for reducing waste in everyday life. Bio-waste management in the past, we gathered experience in a playful way from the recyclable culture of the past. We made rugs from old clothes. Parents made canvas bags and pouches from materials at home with their children. Families also sewed textile napkins and bread bags in the spirit of recycling.
November 27:
Donation day for the Hódmezővásárhely Kagylóhéj Child Protection Center.
During this waste collection and donation, we collect and donate high-value, still functional electronic devices to children in need, thus extending the life of the devices and reducing waste. This campaign implements the principle of the circular economy.
We set ourselves the goal of donating clothes and toys, which is of importance to those in need and to society as a whole, with economic, social, psychological and environmental benefits. We help the basic needs of families, children and individuals in need by contributing to the healthy development of children by providing them with more stimuli. environment for them through games. In terms of equal opportunities, reduce social differences by providing access to good quality clothes and developmental toys for those who would otherwise not be able to afford them. Community building: Donation strengthens social cohesion, empathy and solidarity within the community. Setting an example: Donors set a good example for their children and their environment, which makes helpfulness inheritable. Joy of giving: Donation fills the donor with positive feelings, releases happiness hormones (such as oxytocin and endorphins) and increases individual satisfaction, the meaning of life. It satisfies people’s basic need to connect with others and belong somewhere.
In the afternoon, we hold an environmentally conscious storytelling afternoon with families where we process fairy tales from a waste reduction and prevention perspective, for example The Three Little Pigs.
November 28: “KlímanÓcska Village” closing program stations in the kindergarten are implemented using installations and tools made of selective, recyclable materials. Location: Szabadság tér Kindergarten. The knowledge was recorded through the stations.
1. Entry fee: bring with you the E-waste that needs to be repaired or is destined for disposal.
The aim of the KlimanÓcska Village Awareness-Building Family Day is to present the process of waste generation, treatment and recycling in an interactive and playful way, emphasizing that waste is not garbage, but a valuable raw material. We will cover the topic of E waste in several ways for those interested. I will design the stations so that they are interesting and educational for every member of the family: Activity: From a large pile of Klimanócska selected mixed waste we have to sort the objects into the appropriate collection containers (plastic, paper, metal, glass, compostable), with a time or accuracy competition. Sorting E waste from pictures Objective: To draw attention to the reuse of selective waste collection. Creating a joint campaign message for our Earth E free creation. Objective: To promote reuse and creative thinking. Compost Kata Kuckó: Activity: At a demonstration composting bin or At the compost bin, an expert explains what can and cannot go in, how kitchen green waste can be turned into nutrient-rich flower soil. They can even try out the process in a small probe box. Objective: To present the benefits of home composting, the utilization of organic waste. Energy Element Knowledge Test: Activity: To complete a worksheet on which you have to answer questions related to E waste based on the knowledge gained at different stations or with waste occurring in everyday life. Objective: To check and systematize knowledge. Zero Waste Corner: Activity: Advice and demonstration on how to reduce the amount of waste generated in the household (e.g. using canvas bags, introducing packaging-free stores, recipes for household cleaning products). Objective: To emphasize the importance of prevention (reduce). To promote reuse and improvement. Partners: We cooperate with local farmers, educational institutions and environmental protection experts.
November 29:
Energia Elemér heals in the afternoon with families, dads, and grandfathers. Visit to a local DIY workshop, observation of recycling and repair, involvement in the process.
