Description:
European Waste Reduction Week (Electronic Waste Year)
Activity Plan
An information and activity tent will be set up in the town square, the busiest location in our district, between 22 and 23 November 2025.
For two days, between 10:00 and 15:00, our citizens will be provided with educational information at our tent on what electronic waste is, why it needs to be recycled, which parts can be recycled, and which parts need to be disposed of.Electronic waste will be collected.
Souvenir photos can be taken at our electronic waste hero panel.
Citizens will earn one raffle ticket for each piece of electronic waste they bring and will win various pre-determined gifts at the raffle table. The continuation of our activities that we cannot fit into Waste Reduction Week is planned as follows:
In the future, in collaboration with our Disabled Persons Association, simple repairs required for our battery-powered wheelchairs that have become electronic waste will be taught to disabled individuals by experts, and they will be made reusable.
Similarly, simple repairs of various electric cars, battery-powered cars, robots, and other toys that have lost their functionality will be taught through our parent-child activity, enabling them to be reused.
Those that cannot be reused electronically will be properly recycled and reused.
