Description:
Students from the sectors of ‘Applied Arts’ and Agriculture, Food & Environment’ will get informed about the problem of e-waste, and then create a totem-like sculpture using discarded electronical devices. Each layer of the totem will represent a stage in the consumer cycle: production, use, obsolence and waste. Students will exhibit their art to raise awareness in the school community about how short product lifecycles and fast consumption patterns lead to mountains of e-waste and resource depletion.
