♻️ E-WASTE WASTE REDUCTION WEEK – SCHOOL PROGRAM PLAN
November 22–30, 2025
Target group: lower and upper school students
Goal: playfully shaping attitudes about the prevention, reduction, reuse and selective collection of e-waste.

️ November 22 (Saturday) – Opening day: “Get to know e-waste!”
• Opening event in the school gym
• Short screenings, divided by age group:
o For lower school students: “What happens to my old phone?” (animation)
o For upper school students: “The journey of e-waste from the trash to the new device”
• Announcement of a poster and drawing competition: “Give your device a new life!”

️ November 25th (Monday) – Conscious Shopping Day
• Lower-secondary students: storytime “The mobile phone that was looking for a new owner”
• Upper-secondary students: class teacher’s lesson “Planned obsolescence and responsible consumption”
• For both groups: “Digital detox” – a school day without mobile phones

️ November 26th (Tuesday) – Reuse Day
• Lower-secondary students: craft activity from old CDs, buttons, cables
• Upper-secondary students: “Tech-cserbere” stand in the hall – exchange/donation of old, working devices
• Joint program: “Repair Café” – joint repair afternoon for IT teachers and students

️ November 27th (Wednesday) – Selective collection day
• Opening of school e-waste collection point (batteries, cables, small appliances)
• Lower-secondary students: playful demonstration – trash sorting competition (which waste goes where?)
• Upper school students: group task – creating a selective collection infographic
• Visit to the local waste yard (for upper school students)

️ November 28th (Friday) – Environmental Action Day
• School litter picking campaign in the neighborhood
• “Clean nature – clean technology” photo contest
• Lower school students: “Green fairy tale afternoon” – environmentally friendly fairy tales, discussion
• Upper school students: final quiz: “What do you know about e-waste?”

️ November 29–30. (weekend) – Closing days
• Exhibition of posters, drawings, recycled works
• Announcement of results:
o “E-waste Hero 2025”
o “Most creative reuser”
• Shared “green pledge wall” – each student writes a pledge for the environment
