The Municipality of Platanias will carry out a collection of Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment using the “door-to-door” system – the collection team will visit households, according to the submitted expressions of interest following a relevant invitation – information in the media and social networks.

WEEE will be transported to the facilities of DEDISA S.A. (OTA), and from there will be sent to specialized processing units for proper recycling. There, the devices are sorted and disassembled. The recovered materials are recycled, while hazardous materials are managed separately, in accordance with applicable environmental standards.
