“Creations from computer components”
• WHAT will be done
Description:
The fifth- and sixth-grade students will visit a website that presents ten unique works of art made entirely from discarded computer components. By observing these creations, the children will discover the power of imagination and the importance of reusing materials that would otherwise be thrown away. They will discuss the value of recycling, environmental protection, and how art can be combined with technology in creative and meaningful ways.
Next, the students will examine photos with additional ideas for using computer parts and, with the help of their teachers, will search in the computer lab for components that are no longer needed. Working in groups, they will discuss the benefits of this activity, such as developing creative thinking, teamwork, and environmental awareness. Finally, they will design and create their own artistic projects, proving that even the most useless materials can gain new life through imagination and collaboration. Participation of the school’s English and French language teachers.
