Compost Garden Mission
• WHAT will be done
Description:
Our school is the largest ODM school in the region, where we mainly deal with HH and HHH students. Orientation year, Dobbantó program and workshop school. The aim of the project is to develop an environmentally conscious attitude through the responsible management of organic waste. We collect plant residues generated in the school kitchen separately and then compost them, thus reducing the amount of waste thrown away in a natural way. During the composting process, the participants learn about the process of decomposition and the importance of soil life. We use the finished compost as a soil improver in our own spice kitchen garden, thus promoting the healthy development of plants. The project not only provides practical knowledge, but also highlights the importance of circular thinking. In this way, the students experience how waste can become a valuable resource.
