As part of EWWR 2025, a competition will be held in collaboration with the Municipality of Sfakia and DEDISA S.A. (OTA) in all school units of the municipality. As part of the action, school units (their pupils)  will be asked to collect: a)functional electrical and electronic devices, which will be made available at the Electrical Appliance Exchange Bazaar to be held in Chania  as well as b)Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) for recycling. The school that collects the largest number of appliances will receive a prize and all schools will be awarded a participation certificate. The aim of the action is to raise awareness and encourage the active participation of students in the prevention of waste generation, reuse, and recycling of Electrical and Electronic Equipment.
