This action promotes waste prevention and responsible consumption by encouraging the sharing of surplus food within our community. The community fridge serves as a space where residents, local businesses, and organisations can deposit edible food that would otherwise go to waste, making it available for anyone who needs it. Through this initiative, we raise awareness about food waste reduction, build solidarity, and promote sustainable food habits across Lisburn.
