3. Climate Ambassadors Information Tour – “Manage Electronics Properly, Protect Your Future”
Electronic waste management is the responsibility not only of individuals but also of institutions. With this understanding, the “Climate Ambassadors” team, established by Çanakkale Municipality, will conduct an information tour across the city.

The ambassadors will visit public institutions and local neighborhoods to explain the effects of electronic waste on the environment and human health. They will provide guidance on proper collection methods, recycling points, and individual responsibilities.

During the visits, short presentations will be given, informative brochures distributed, and symbolic e-waste collection boxes introduced. Key messages and visuals from the event will also be shared on the municipality’s social media channels.

This initiative aims to strengthen institutional awareness, foster behavioral change at the local level, and position Çanakkale as a model city in environmental responsibility.
