Art Rewired
• WHAT will be done
Description:
Students from the Sector of ‘Agriculture, Food & Environment’ will participate in a creative workshop focused on raising awareness about e-waste. They will get informed about e-waste, collect discarded electronic components and other e-waste materials, and transform them into collaborative artwork. Their compositions will represent the link between technology, environment and creativity and the process will turn waste into artistic expression.
By engaging in this activity, students will examine the environmental implications of e-waste and discover how artistic reuse reflects the principles of the circular economy. The project fosters innovation, teamwork and ecological awareness, while strengthening students’ STEAM competences. Finally, students will exhibit their artwork to raise awareness to the school community about the life cycle of electronics and the impact of fast consumption on the planet.
