The “School Reward Program” by AFIS is an educational and environmental initiative designed to raise awareness among students of all ages about the importance of recycling portable batteries and promoting the principles of a circular economy.

The program runs throughout the school year and, since last year, participation has expanded beyond primary schools to include kindergartens and middle schools as well! Schools that reach their recycling targets receive gifts for all students, as well as equipment for school labs and playground flooring (rubber floors) made from recycled rubber materials.

The program encourages participation from all students, fostering teamwork, environmental awareness, and active citizenship. Through hands-on involvement, students learn about the value of recycling and protecting the environment in a fun and meaningful way.

Participation is completely free of charge, and AFIS provides ongoing communication and support to help as many schools as possible join and learn through action.
