Meet the finalists of the EWWR 2024 in the “Public Administration or Organisation” category:

• Bizkaia Repara – implemented by the Provincial Council of Bizkaia
  A campaign to reduce waste and promote sustainable consumption by encouraging product repairs. Consumers receive €10 vouchers for repairs costing €20 or more, redeemable at participating businesses. A total of 5,000 vouchers worth €50,000 have been made available.
  
  

• Nothing to Waste: Just Be a Part of the Solution – implemented by the Municipality of Volvi
  During EWWR 2024, the Municipality of Volvi launched a variety of initiatives to promote food waste reduction and integrated waste management across the community. Activities engaged students of all ages as well as local residents.

• Urban Oranges of Santa Rosa – implemented by Mollet del Vallès City Council
  During EWWR 2024, Mollet City Council held workshops to raise awareness about the Urban Oranges of Santa Rosa Project, a circular economy initiative preventing food waste and reducing waste. The project involves volunteers, students, and organisations who harvest bitter oranges from city streets. The fruit is then turned into jam!
