Threads of Change: Transforming Textile Scraps into Sustainable Fashion

INFO [what will be done]

Description:

Every Square Counts: Creating Fashion from Fabric ScrapsAs part of European Waste Reduction Week, students are exploring sustainable fashion through creative upcycling. They are collecting leftover fabric scraps, cutting them into squares, and assembling them into unique patchwork textiles. These patchwork panels are then transformed into original garments, demonstrating how textile waste can be creatively reused to produce beautiful, one-of-a-kind fashion pieces while promoting environmental awareness and circular fashion practices.
